Vera Liubchivschi

I have over ten years of experience in the care industry and joined Lodore in 2017 as a Registered Nurse, later becoming the Home Manager in 2024. I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology and am also a qualified Couple and Family Therapist.
My primary goal is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, holistic, person-centred care in a safe environment that meets CQC standards. Leading by example, I work alongside a dedicated team to maintain a homely, happy atmosphere while upholding exceptional care standards. I am approachable and maintain strong relationships with the local authority and Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group.
At the heart of our service is a commitment to embracing culture and diversity. We welcome residents from all backgrounds, regardless of their culture, faith, or language.
I believe strongly in the importance of staying connected with our local Sutton community, enriching the lives of our residents, particularly through activities. Each day brings new challenges and rewards, and my passion lies in providing the best possible care to improve the lives of our residents.
I live locally and enjoy traveling, discovering new places, trying different cuisines, and spending time with friends.

She believes that is very important to connect with your residents. Understand their concerns and fears by having open conversations about their feelings and emotions. Be empathetic and reassuring, responding to their emotional needs with sensitivity. When they share their fears, their doubts, or their wishes, listen attentively. Your active and responsive presence can go a long way toward validating their experience and making them feel heard and valued.
